ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate all maintenance personnel.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies to minimize equipment downtime.
- Oversee accurate and timely completion of maintenance documentation, including work orders and preventive maintenance records.
- Coordinate and manage contractors performing facility or equipment work.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to operational planning.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to ensure expenditures are properly approved.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, including the shop and storage zones.
- Enforce company policies related to safety, food safety, food defense, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical or College degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong organization and team management skills; ability to delegate and prioritize effectively.
- Computer literacy required; proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment diagrams and technical documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of multitasking and maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work collaboratively and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Prior experience in a food production facility.
- TIG welding and electronics knowledge.
- Technical or college training in maintenance-related fields.
