The Member of the Month for April 2026 goes to...
The Chamber Ambassadors presented the April 2026, Member of the Month Award, sponsored by Waste Connections of Texas, to the Mineral Wells Youth Sports Association for the sports they provide for the youth in our community. They offer Football, Cheerleading, Basketball, Soccer, with the addition of the Little Dribblers and 7v7 Football over the last 2 years. MWYSA has started raising funds for scholarship assistance for their athletes. They also implemented a program for gear and equipment donations called, Ram Relay's. MWYSA was also able to extend a donation to our MW High School Basketball programs. This 100% volunteer organization truly makes an impact on the entire community. Their primary goal and focus is, NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND & EVERY ATHLETES DESERVES A CHANCE TO PLAY. Sign ups for football and cheer are open now, if interested please contact Amy Jones at 940-901-0229
