Groundbreaking for new housing development
On March 6, 2025, the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Board of Directors and ribbon cutting sponsor, Mineral Wells Rent All, welcomed MW Development to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting and groundbreaking ceremony. The location was on the grounds of The Wells Development on Garrett Morris Parkway. AUSTIN – State Rep. Glenn Rogers has formally filed a pre-Legislative-session bill that, if approved, would designate Mineral Wells as “The Wellness Capital of Texas.” State lawmakers will convene in January. MINERAL WELLS, Texas -- The U.S. Census Bureau has provided 2020 Census numbers to the Texas Legislature. Surprisingly, Palo Pinto County officially showed very little population growth from the last Census count. Census numbers are used by the Legislature to redistrict its House and Senate districts.
