Poston Plaza Park is now open

On May 7, 2026, The City of Mineral Wells and The Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony, sponsored by Vyve Business, for the official Grand Opening of Poston Plaza Park,  located between the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce and the Outfitters/Collective. This downtown green space has been talked about for at least 30 years. What a great place to relax, listen to music or play some yard games.  You can also enjoy Oliver "Ollie" the amazing metal art sculpture donated by Nancy Richards of the Tartaglino Family Foundation in partnership with the Class Project for Leadership Mineral Wells Class 28.  Come have some fun downtown in the Wellness Capital of Texas!!!
