Power of Business -Quarterly Chamber Luncheon
Parker County Judge Mark Riley will be the inaugural speaker at the Chamber’s quarterly Power of Business Luncheon, set for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Holiday Hills Country Club. He and his team will discuss the impact of the new highway on area residents and economic activity.
Judge Riley has led the effort to establish the Ric Williamson Memorial Highway to alleviate congestion along South Main in Weatherford. This highway, which you see under construction between Mineral Wells and Weatherford, will provide another option for access to I-20 for Mineral Wells and Palo Pinto County residents as well.
Now serving in his fourth term as county judge, Riley has been an advocate for regional and local transportation improvement and led the way for a successful $80 million countywide transportation bond program in 2008.
Riley was appointed by the Governor to the Council of Governments Regional Review Committee for 911 Community Block Grants and has served as Weatherford Chamber of Commerce President and Parker County Hospital District board member.
Luncheon tickets are $25.
