Estate specialist to focus on long-term care
Nichole Guthrie, an estate planning specialist with Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance, will lead a discussion about planning an estate and long-term care coverage’s role in it at a February 20 workshop.
The workshop will take place 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Titan Bank, 1701 E. Hubbard. Guthrie’s presentation is part of Corner Post Financial Planning’s 2014 Financial Education Series, which is hosted and sponsored by Titan Bank as part of a joint commitment to providing financial education to the community.
Program presenter Nichole Guthrie is a Certified Life Underwriter, a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional, and a Chartered Financial Consultant.
“Everyone’s situation is different, but considering long-term care insurance and how it can help protect your assets and your family is a vital part of estate planning,” said John R. Berry, a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional and owner of Corner Post Financial Planning. “I appreciate Texas Farm Bureau Insurance and agency manager Pat Bazzell for their help in bringing this important program to Palo Pinto County.”
The workshop will be held in the Titan Bank board room, and light refreshments will be served.
