Free Small Business Consulting One-on-One
Small Business Development counselor Mark Beauregard partners with the Chamber once a month on the second Tuesday to provide one-on-one counseling for small business owners. A small business is any entity under 500 employees, or any manufacturer with fewer than 1,500.
Meetings are by appointment only: (940) 325-2557. You should typically allow for one hour.
There is no charge for most of the services.
Services offered include:
Business Plan Development: Assistance with business plan layouts including business descriptions, product/service definitions, management plans, and financial plans (income and cash flow projections)
Business Start-Ups: Help with choosing the appropriate legal structures, tax structures, and bookkeeping systems, and analyzing the feasibility of new businesses
Marketing: Assistance with researching markets, defining markets, marketing plans, and advertising
Financing: Provide aid with loan packaging, procurement assistance, and analyzing profitability
Small Business Expansion: Provide guidance with managing increased inventory, fixed assets, and sales. Help with determining a business’s value when selling or purchasing.
Human Resource Management: Assistance in complying with labor laws and regulations, controlling labor costs, and training
International Trade: Assist in locating foreign markets, contacts, tariffs, and foreign trade rules and regulations
Business Analysis: Provide real-time “Industry Specific” standards/benchmarks and ratios to aid in analyzing business performance
