Celebrating 80 years of soaring above the community.

On May 20, 2023, the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the Mineral Wells Municipal Airport and its 80 years in business, with a ribbon cutting ceremony.  This event brought out many airplane enthusiast that enjoyed seeing and touching the planes.  The day was special with a three formation fly over, coffee and donuts and even a homemade plane.  Thank you to our ribbon cutting sponsor, MW Rental All, a great time was had by everyone that attended.
