To assert ownership of the Accounts Receivable function and be responsible for the timely, efficient and accurate processing of accounts receivable transactions.




  • Manage accounts receivable activities and processes to achieve timely and accurate collections.
  • Standardize processes to improve account accuracy and collection times.
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from customers and appropriate internal departments.
  • Perform routine analysis and auditing of customer activity.
  • Effectively communicate with domestic and international customers in response to delinquencies and inquiries.
  • Deliver high quality, accurate and timely credit account management, collection activity, and customer service.
  • Ensure receipts are applied accurately and recorded to correct general ledger account.
  • Support monthly close process including account reconciliations, cash reconciliation, proper cut-off, monthly accruals, and etc.
  • Coordinate effective communication with other business departments.
  • Participate in the enforcement of internal controls and the standardization and continuous improvement of processes.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.




  • Three to 5-years’ experience in accounts receivable and credit
  • Experience dealing with an international customer base preferred
  • Experience using Oracle and/or Navision preferred, proficiency with a large ERP system required
  • Ability to research and analyze various forms of data/information
  • Proven organization skills, ability to prioritize work, and analytical and problem solving skills
  • Intermediate level skills with MS Office software; advanced Excel skills a must
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with a diverse customer base
  • Self-motivated and effective, working autonomously or as part of a team
  • Ability to develop professionally and grow within this role, and the organization
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Lift up to 40 pounds
