Clark Gardens-Run From the Ducks

Annual 'Run from the Ducks' benefiting The National Vietnam War Museum.

8 hour timed event held at Clark Botanical Gardens, just east of Mineral Wells, which is also the host for the run. The run is sponsored by MPAK, Inc. of Aledo, TX. This is a limited participant race - there will only be 50 runnners allowed on the course. First come, first served. Registrations have already begun. Entry fee is $50 for early registration, $65 after September 1, 2013. All proceeds go to the museum. Race registration via online signup or by downloading race entry form on the race website: www.RunFromTheDucks.com or www.8HRFTD.com. Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall, male and female. Gates open at 5:30 a.m. Sign in by 6:15 a.m. to avoid a line. Run begins at 7:00 a.m. See website for more details. If you're not a runner, come out and enjoy the gardens, and cheer on the runners. The Friends of the Museum are the official cheerleaders for the run.
